BPR 2021 Phase 2 Payments Starting May 7

Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) will introduce the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) 2021 phase 2 payments in phases, beginning May 7 and ending May 12 for account crediting and May 17 for cash payments at BSN branches. Payments will be credited to recipients’ bank accounts between May 7 and 12, and cash payments will be made by Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) from May 17 for those who do not have a bank account (including those in Sabah and Sarawak).

BSN CEO Jay Khairil Jeremy Abdullah advised cash beneficiaries of BPR 2021 phase 2 payments to prepare ahead of time and always follow the SOPs. When visiting any BSN branch for cash payment, the recipient must carry his or her identification card. The beneficiaries of BPR 2021 may only be represented by registered members. Those whose applications were refused may file an appeal with the Inland Revenue Board from May 15 to June 30.
